Former Credential Recordings piano rock outfit Seabird are once again on their own but need your help in making their third full-length studio album a reality. While they did release one independent EP in 2005 (titled Spread Your Broken Wings And Try), this recording will mark their first ever full-length independent effort. We have always wanted to produce an independent record. Well, now we have that opportunity. This has certainly come sooner than we expected and we couldn't be more excited about it. You guys know we have always done our best to connect with you, our fans. What can we say,we love you guys! Honestly, there is no better way to connect than to get you involved in the recording process from day one. The moment we heard of Kickstarter we knew it was something we wanted to do. It's no secret that the music industry is changing. This can be extremely difficult for bands and we can certainly attest to that. We have, however, witnessed this new model working extremely well for many bands and believe strongly this will be a great experience for us and you.We wrote more than 50 new songs last year to make a new record. We have never been more ready to get in the studio and start creating what we believe could be our best record yet. We know who we are as a band. We're not looking to reinvent ourselves, only to improve on what we've done by continuing to hone our craft, write fun, inspiring, honest songs and never take ourselves too seriously. Really guys we think you're going to love our new stuff, if we didn't we wouldn't ask you to get involved and back the project.
Here's the first and the most revealing bonus for backing the project. Along with all the incentives, EVERYONE who pledges $30 or more will get a download of ten unreleased demos that have never made it on any Seabird release. We love these songs and know you will too.
